Membership Levels

Voting Memberships

Voting-level members are passionate about protecting the right to own, care for, and breed exotic hoofstock — and believe landowners should have the freedom to manage their own land. They’re hands-on as owners, agents, or managers, working directly with both native and non-native hoofstock, as defined by the EWA By-Laws.  When you join as a voting-level member, you’ll get a welcome package that includes an EWA Member sign, a subscription to Exotic Wildlife magazine (twice a year), a copy of the EWA By-Laws, access to the Game Ranch Directory through your membership portal (coming soon), e-alerts, an EWA decal, and even a 15% discount on Pneu-Dart darts. You’ll also have the opportunity to register animals in the DNA Registries. Voting members are invited to attend all general and special meetings, but make sure your membership is up to date by December 31st each year to keep your voting rights at the Annual Membership Meeting.

Active Member – $200/year

If you’re hands-on as an owner, agent, or manager working with exotic animals, this membership is for you! As an Active Member, you’ll join a passionate community of people just like you who care for and help grow the world of exotic wildlife. You’ll get access to the EWA DNA registry, a subscription to Exotic Wildlife magazine delivered to you twice a year, full voting rights at the Annual Membership Meeting (just be sure to renew by December 31 to keep your vote), and the satisfaction of being part of something truly special. Active Corporate Member – $600/year

Show your company’s passion for exotic wildlife and make a real impact by becoming an Active Corporate Member! Your business can name up to three company officers as individual Active Members — so your team gets to join the action too. One of your designated members will also have the right to vote on Association matters, giving your company a real voice in the future of exotic wildlife. Plus, you will have access to EWA’s DNA Registry, you’ll enjoy a subscription to Exotic Wildlife magazine twice a year, keeping you in the know and inspired. Just make sure to renew by December 31 to keep your voting privileges. Join today and demonstrate your company’s commitment to the world of exotic animals! 

Lifetime Member – $2,000 (one-time)

Ready to make a lifelong commitment to exotic wildlife and join a special group of dedicated supporters? Become a Lifetime Member! With a one-time fee of $2,000, you’ll enjoy all the rights and benefits of Active Membership — for life. Plus, you’ll receive a personalized EWA work jacket to show off your pride and a subscription to Exotic Wildlife magazine twice a year to keep you inspired and informed. Non-Voting Memberships

Love exotic and native hoofstock animals? Believe in the right to own, care for, and breed them — and the right of landowners to manage their own land? Then becoming a Non-Voting Member is a great way to show your support and be part of the EWA community! As a Non-Voting Member, you’ll receive the EWA By-Laws, e-alerts to keep you updated, and an official EWA decal to show your pride. You’re welcome to attend all EWA general and special meetings, too — while you won’t have voting rights, your support helps protect the future of these amazing animals and the people who care for them. Join today and stand with us!

Associate Member – $100/year

If you love exotic animals and wildlife, and believe in the right to responsibly own, care for, and breed them — as well as the right of landowners to manage their own property — this membership is for you! As an Associate Member, you’ll be part of a community of passionate, like-minded people. You’re welcome to join us at all general and special meetings to connect, learn, and get involved. While this level doesn’t include voting rights, your support helps protect and promote the values we all share.

Associate Corporate Member – $250/year

If your company cares about exotic animals, wildlife conservation, and supports the right to responsibly own, breed, and manage wildlife — as well as the right of landowners to steward their own land — this is the perfect way to show your support! As an Associate Corporate Member, your business is part of a passionate, like-minded community. You’re invited to attend all general and special meetings to connect, learn, and engage (though this level does not include voting rights).  Plus, you can name up to three (3) of your company’s officers to be recognized as individual Associate Members — a great way to involve your team and showcase your company’s commitment to our shared mission.

Student Member – $25/year

Are you a student with a passion for wildlife and conservation? This membership is a great way to get involved, learn, and connect with others who share your interests — all while supporting the right to responsibly care for and protect wildlife and land.

If you’re currently enrolled in a public or private school or college, you’re welcome to join us at all general and special meetings to gain insight and be part of the conversation (though this level does not include voting rights).
