EWA is excited to announce that we are ready to start creating markers for the Kudu, Sable and Axis registries. The lab has requested at least 20 unrelated samples for each species to create the DNA markers. If you have 20 animals in your herd that are unrelated those animals would all qualify to help get the markers created.
If you are an Active level member or above and you would like to get in the Kudu, Sable or Axis registries contact the EWA office and we will provide you with sample envelopes. Each sample must be in a separate envelope and returned to the EWA office with your payment of $45 per sample. EWA will process your paperwork and send your sample to the lab. Once we receive the report on your sample, we will provide that report to you as well as a certificate for each animal.
